TCP/IP

Hello all

Why internet protocol suite is called as a TCP/IP suite?

We use both UDP and TCP as a transport layer protocol in different services.

Then why the entire internetwork rules and conditions are called only TCP/IP suite? (why only TCP is used in that term? ).

(Why don't we call as a IP suite, which makes more sense).

Thanks&Regards

Siva
