We had installed new internet circuit and enabled BGP between service provider. If I check the bandwidth test it shows upload & download almost 50MB for local sites. The same if I point to another country it shows download 50MB and upload 4MB. ISP told "just double check your TCP sessions to ensure you are running multiple TCP sessions and not single TCP sessions as this will also influence the speed". Please clarify how to proceed and your inputs will be useful to fix the issue.

Hello,
not sure what your ISP is referring to. Slow upload can be caused by MTU size, can you post the config of your Cisco device (which platform is it) ?

The ISP is probably referring to the negative impact that high latency has on TCP traffic. Do you know what the latency is between the source and destination hosts that are experiencing the 4Mbps upload?

Do you have a WAN link monitoring tool? If so, open multiple ping session with high data rate. Make the link fully utilized and check the utilization in the tool.
