Testing scenarios on Catalyst QoS ?!?!?!

Hi experts,

Due to my customer has just a few experience on enterprise switch such as Catalyst. He dont trust on WHATS QoS. Just right deploying IP VDO along with VOIP. 

So, I need to do him a PoC to prove him like 7Mbps VDO input for 7-10 ports. Then prove enabling QoS Then wait n see what s respond on VOIP. 

Whats else could you suggest on this scenario? What should be indicator? What s proper traffic generator?

Hello,

QoS comes into the picture when you merly have congestion, other wise , you wont need QoS in your LAN.

always look for how much is the bandwidth utilization , if its So, at this stage, you would definately need proper QoS design and implementation for your Video and Voice traffic.

At another stage, you Can to analyze what is actually consuming the bandwidth using for example netflow.

Oh i see, i just wanna make some trust on our products from customer's perspectives.

He dont want to meet even any UNSEEN right after he implement IP CCTV in near futher.

I used to play on INE workbook for Router's QoS but not CATALYST.

Would you recommend me some powerful traffic generator that can simulate the traffic like UDP IP CCTV.
