The ADSL Modem CISCO867-K9 not connecting with default mtu config in virtual template

Dear Experts ,

The ADSL Modem CISCO867-K9 is not connecting to our NAS router with default mtu value in the NAS router virtual template

Is there is any reason for ths ?  With the below settings my ADSL 867 connecting , but if i remove the (mtu 1440 and ip tcp adjust-mss 1392 , this modem is not connecting

My Virtual Template config

The Original Post is in AAA , Identity and NAC group ,but normally we get very low response from that section ... i want to delete it , but there is no delete button ..Please tell me what i can do in this case
