traffic shaping with bandwidth limitation

Dear Everybody,

I have to limit the 10 mbps bandwidth for IP base. like one IP use maximum 40 % and second one 40 % and rest of all are 20 %.

can we do traffic shapping while  limiting the bandwidth . please share configuration or any document with practical scenario

your're beter off using CBWFQ  Instead of shaping without having to buffer any excess traffic.

CBWFQ is the MQC equivalent of a combination of the legacy interface level fair-queue command and the custom-queue. CBWFQ is used to reserve a minimum amount of bandwidth in the output queue for a particular traffic flow in the case of congestion.
