Troubleshooting MLPPP and wondering convergence variables when a link belon

I'm trying to understand all variables that I should concern while troubleshooting a Multilink PPP problem

in a scenario where a MLPPP bundle, with two CE interfaces associated to it, connecting a CE to a PE

has one of the CE connections suffering an intense link flapping.

My customer says that when the CE connection flaps, its connection gets unavailable for 1 whole minute.

I tried to simulate the same situation in a laboratory environment, but I did not get the same result, the 1 minute unavailability.

So, I wonder :

1) What should I count when analyzing the convergence time but the Physical & Data link Layer protocols ?

2) Ten (10) seconds is the default keepalive frequency for PPP encapsulation ? (I think so.)

3) Which is the convergence time for an adjacency and for a static route flapping ?

4) Which is the FIB/LFI scan time ?

Yours Truly.

Murilo Pugliese.

Yes. The default keepalive for PPP encapsulation is 10 secs. With static route, the routers constantly advertise the reachability of the client's network as a static advertisement. This is one way

by which route flapping can be damped. Hence convergence time is less.
