Hi Please see the below screenshot which comes from Solarwind. The picture shows if there is interface downtime, but its period is too short. Is it possible for us to know if there is interface downtime in a little longer time ago? Thank you
We use a central syslog server for all routers we run. The if the down time long enough that the router throw its log message it arrive in the router log. No SNMP only a logfile. You can grep it for parts of "state down" or "link". We wrote a script that tails the router log and send emails and make pagers for some critical "keywords" :)
