Hello All,

Appreciate your input here. I'm unable to ping other MPLS location sourcing only a specific VLAN - in my case VLAN 601

IP int br show all vlan is UP.

Vlan2 x.x.x.x YES NVRAM up up
Vlan101 x.x.x.x YES NVRAM up up
Vlan601 x.x.x.x YES NVRAM up up
Vlan690 x.x.x.x YES NVRAM up up

Ping sourcing VLAN 601 failed

coreswitch#ping x.x.x.x source vlan 2
Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to x.x.x.x, timeout is 2 seconds:

!!!!!
Success rate is 100 percent (5/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 120/122/130 ms

Are you advertising the vlan 601 subnet into the MPLS network ?

If so are there any acls in place that could be blocking those IPs ?

Hello Jon,

Yes checked with provider and it's advertised via BGP route. Don't see any acl denying this ip. I can't ping mpls router sourcing this vlan as well. Other vlan is fine. Pinging vlan 601(ownself) is fine too.
