Dear All,

We have inserted the HWIC-2FE into 2811 and 3825 router, but not getting recognised on the slots. We are getting the following errros.

Hello,

I believe you will have to upgrade your IOS: according to the datasheet for the HWIC-2FE module at

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps5854/product_data_sheet0900aecd80581fe6_ps5855_Products_Data_Sheet.html

the minimum IOS version that supports this card on your router is 12.4(20)T. When upgrading the IOS, please verify that your current DRAM and FLASH meet the requirements of the new IOS image.
