Upgrade Path 17.06.05a to 17.12.06 (C8500L-8S4X)

Hey,

could someone tell me if there is an upgrade path from 17.06.05a to 17.12.06 for C8500L-8S4X or am I able to upgrade driectly to 17.12.06.

Also, could someone help where I can find such information? I have searched for about an hour with no success.

Please first refer to the release note:

Table15 show you minimum and recommended ROMmon.

ROMmon version is the only requirement ; you could jump to 17.12.x after that.

thank you! I´ve got Version 17.4(1r) - and there is a note inside the release notes:

"In case of C8500L-8S4X platform, the ROMmon image is bundled with the Cisco IOS XE software image which ensures that when the device is booted up, the ROMmon image is also automatically upgraded to the recommended version."

So I should not worry about the upgrade with 17.4(1r) ROMMON Version?

Right. The platform uses a bundled ROMmon model.
