Urgent. IOS configuration difference between 2651 and 2911 routers

Hello,

Please advise if there is any difference between configuration of cisco 2651 and 2911 routers              

I'm going to migrate router 2651 to 2911

THere are bound to be some diferences, the 51 is a much older device.

there are several, let's assume that we use latest ready for production.

is there really could be any difference?

ready for production is very subjective. if you are going frm 12.x to 15 I'd stronly suggest looking at the release notes

for what ever release is on the 2911.

If there is a chance, you should try and load the 2651 based config on the new device in a test environment.
