Using BGP weight in fortinet

hi, 
Since BGP weight attribute is cisco proprietary , how it is used in fortinet firewall ( non cisco device)
Can anyone explain it ?

Hello
BGP weight is only locally significant to the router so it isn’t advertised to any updates towards any peers and as you have rightly stated its cisco proprietary however my understanding the weight feature IS available on Fortinet platforms
