Has anyone seen this?
Have a 3945 router with a switch module. When doing a trace route from the switch module it shows the management interface first and then a unknown or perhaps a virtual address of 10.10.3.29 that is configured no where on the router or switch and from there it goes out a configured router port as expected. From the router side, trace route goes directly to the address when we trace route to the 10.10.3.29. Port g0/1 of the router is configured with 10.10.10.1/24 to talk to the switch module through the virtual port g0/18. We could not find any documentation to reveal what was happening. Does anyone know what is occurring here and could you point me to the documentation that pertains to this?
