Hi, I have sw-A and B connected with trunk mode. My question is can vlan 2 members on Sw-A can communicate with Sw-b hosts having vlan membership vlan-2.
ATT- Description of vlan 2 is different on both switches, but vlan ID is same
Sw-A->> VTP mode tranparent
vlan 2, name SALE
vlan 3, name MKT
Sw-B->> VTP mode tranparent
vlan 2, name SALE-SPC
vlan 3, name MKT

Yes as long as the trunk allows vlan 2 across it. The name is just a reference tag but it is the vlan number that is important.
