Vlan on 1941 router: status up protocol down: unable to ping

I am in packet Tracer trying to configure a base config on a 1941 router to a 2950 switch. The vlan status is up but the protocol is down.

The switch can not ping the router, and the router cannot ping the switch.

When looking at the logical mapping, on the switch side I have a red envelope with DTP. Any ideas how to correct this?

Hello,

have a look at the attached project file. Basically you have two options:

Option 1 (left): add an ESW module to the router and connect the switch to the ESW module

Option 2 (right): configure a trunk between the router and the switch and put the Vlan 1 IP address of the router on the physical interface the switch is connected to

Hello,

post the Packet Tracer project (.pkt) file as a zipped file...

Hello,

Not solved. Here is the project. I am trying to do router6 to a switch. Adding a HWIC is not an option, as this matches what I have in my physical lab.I cannot get the router or switch to ping to one another.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
