We started to implement IPSec on cloud instances and after couple days of working it stopped to work. Debugged it and seemed that packets with source and destination UDP 500 port are filtered. After that tried to change my source IP in Local Datacenter side - and it started to work. Don't know how long it will. Could it be due to whole China policy to block VPNs in 2018 ? Thanks
Maybe you guys experienced similar problems ? Do China officialy says that they will block VPNs ?
Is there any wokraround to route your traffic securely ? for example using IPSec over Gre or something like that ? Thanks

Hello,
China has very strict laws when it comes to encryption and VPNs. I think they have started to block any Internet based VPNs, and now require a dedicated leased line for connections from outside of China. That leased line has to be approved by the authorities...

thank you, guys.
Have you tried to get an official statement that they're blocking VPNs ? Seems there're lots of information about it, but no official one. Heard that you can white list your service somehow.
