vrf verification

I am setting up a multi vrf network using 4 routers. 2 middle routers will be PE's running BGP and two outer most will be ce's running OSPF. I don't have traffic generator or devices connected on these outer most routers.

How can i check if my vrf's are correctly functional(function as expected).

Ping from CE to CE.

If the VRF is properly configured at the PEs, ping will work CE <-> CE.

You can also ping PE<->CE. When pinging from PE, make sure to use the vrf option within the ping command as the default ping on the PE will use the global routing table.
