WAAS doesn't provide much if any benefit to the routers themselves other then reducing the offered traffic load. It's designed to benefit performance of many traffic types running across the WAN. For the latter, it usually doesn't matter much what's the type of WAN circuit or who the TELCO vendors are. More benefit is seen when the WAN has low bandwidth and/or high latency.
