I have a situation where my Automatic Teller Machines (ATM) are timing out due to delays in network convergence when my WAN IP transport has taken a failure. I have redundancy with my WAN but the network re-convergence is not fast enough to maintain ATM communications. Does anyone know what the normal/optimal re-convergence time should be for sustaining Automated Teller Machine communications over a WAN or what the normal/optimal settings should on my ATM's before they time-out?
