WFQ not default on ASR 1004 E1 interface?

Hi all,

When i do a "show interface S1/0/0:0" on an ASR 1004, the queueing strategy was FIFO. i always thought that any interface that has a speed of less than 2.048 mbps would have WFQ applied? I try finding the fair-queue command but it is not there.

If interface WFQ isn't supported, likely you can do something similar with CBWFQ, although it might not support the "W" part of WFQ.

Sorry what do you mean it might not support the "W" part of WFQ?

"W" is for weighted (uses IP Precedence to weigh flow's scheduling priority).

Fair-queue in CBWFQ pre-HQF works like interface fair-queue, in post-HQF it's just fair queuing.
