Which IOS is which ?

Hello All,

As I was reading the 11 different vulnerbilities release 28th sep 2011 from Cisco, It became clear to me, that my knowlegde og IOS version has been outdated.

I have a large amount of 1800/2800 router running 12.4, this is ok, but I also have a small amount 1800/2800/2900 running 15 of somesort, like 15.0M train, and 15.1(x)T train. The latter i need someone to clarify:

I have

15.1(1)T3

15.1(2)T1

In the SecAdvisories, they meantion

15.1(3)T aswell

So I would like to maintain as few versions as posible, but what are the difference betwwen all of these release ?

Would I be able the take a 15.1(1) and migrate to 15.1(2) or (3) ??

ok, from the wonderfull links you gave, I can see that the new release called 15.1(4)M2, would cover alle the release I have, and the release is on the fixed list of the vuln. in question.

I just wonder why the security advisory does not encourage user to migrate to M-release instead of waiting until dec for a rebuild of a T release ...
