Why does my CB Policer showed a higher conformed rate than my CIR?

e.g. how can the following out put be true?  I have a CIR of 3840k, but its actually saying 4004k has actually conformed and been sent?

Class-map: POLICE-ME (match-all)
      777460 packets, 74636160 bytes
30 second offered rate 5004000 bps, drop rate 1001000 bps
      Match: ip dscp ef (46)
      police:
cir 3840000 bps, bc 250000 bytes
conformed 621976 packets, 59709696 bytes; actions:
          transmit
exceeded 155488 packets, 14926848 bytes; actions:
          drop
conformed 4004000 bps, exceeded 1001000 bps

 Thanks in advance.

Hello.

I would say it's a cosmetic flaw, as your policer's Tc is about 500 ms and load interval (per interface) is 30 seconds.

I think, that if you lower Tc, then statistics from show policy-map would be more accurate.
