!

policy-map shape

class class1

banwidth 120

class class-default

fair-queue

!

interface serial 1/0:0

frame-relay traffic-shaping

interface serial 1/0:0.555

ip address .....

frame-relay class test555

frame-relay interface-dlci 555

!

map-class frame-relay test555

service-policy out shape

!

When trying to apply the policy-map shape under subinterface 1/0:0.555 i get this warning/error message

"I/f Serial1/0:0.555 DLCI 555 class class1 requested bandwidth 120 (kbps), available only 28 (kbps)"

why this ?!

This DLCI is configured at the F.R switch to have speed with 256kbps

Thanks in advance

You have already applied the service policy in the map-class which is again applied under the dlci. You dont need to apply the service policy again under the sub interface.

When i want to apply this service-policy either under the subinterface or under the DLCI this message appears
