WS-F6700-DFC3BXL

Hi Dears 

  I have router 7613 with IOS 12.2(33)SRE2 on it . I installed module  WS-F6700-DFC3BXL on it but the router cant recognized it.

  it shows unknown or after a minute power-off . and LEDs for module going to off.

  should I change the IOS ? and what is the better IOS for this router!?!

which IOS's , later than 12.2(18)SXD ?   is 12.2(33)SRE is higher or not?

SRE is higher than SRA, but I'm not sure how to compare 7600's SR* with 6500's SX* (in terms of ROMMON version requirement for the base line card)...

Anyway, how does "show module" look?  And which of the line cards do you wish to populate with that DFC? - maybe it doesn't have the latest firmware, and updating it to 12.2(18r)S1 could help...
