A SAMT Bill-to ID Administrator may block and unblock a Bill-to ID from specific users. Blocking a Bill-to ID removes the
user's current access to the Bill to ID to obtain support for all contracts linked to the Bill-to ID and visibility to those
contracts in CCW-R. This document serves as a tutorial for blocking and unblocking a Bill-to ID using Manage by Number
in SAMT.

Block a Bill-to ID from User(s)

Block Step 1. Log into SAMT. Click the Manage by Number tab. By default, you will land on the ‘Using Bill to ID’ tab. If
you are not a SAMT Bill-to ID Admin, this is not available and you cannot proceed further.
Block Step 2. Either a) Enter the Bill to ID in the box provided in the gray portion of the screen, select ‘Block Bill to ID
addition to Cisco.com profile’ from the drop-down, and click Submit, or
b) Choose the Bill-to ID from the list appearing on the lower portion of the screen, choose the action in the drop-down,
and click Submit.

Block Step 3. SAMT displays the list of users who currently have access to the Bill-to ID and can be blocked. Select the
user(s) you want to block from the Bill-to ID. You may enter a reason for the block in the text box. Click Submit.

Block Step 4. The Bill-to ID is removed from the user(s) profile(s), and the user(s) will be denied commerce and support
access through the Bill-to ID if they request it in the future until it is unblocked. SAMT displays a success message. To
view a list of users blocked from a Bill-to ID, follow steps 1 – 4 below to unblock a Bill-to ID from a user.

Unblock a Bill-to ID from User(s)

Unblock Step 1. Log into SAMT. Click the Manage by Number tab. By default, you will land on the ‘Using Bill to ID’ tab.
Unblock Step 2. Either: a) Enter the Bill to ID to be unblocked in the box located within the gray portion of the screen,
select ‘Unblock Bill to ID to allow addition to Cisco.com profile’ from the drop-down, and click submit, or
b) Choose the Bill-to ID from the list on the lower portion of the screen, choose the action in the drop-down, and click
Submit.

Unblock Step 3. SAMT displays users who are currently blocked from the Bill-to ID. If no users are listed, there are
currently no users blocked from the chosen/input Bill-to ID. Select the user(s) to be unblocked from the Bill-to ID and
click Submit.

Unblock Step 4. SAMT provides a success message. The user(s) are unblocked from the Bill-to ID but will not have access
reinstated until access is granted again, if needed.
