Existing SAMT Bill-to ID Administrators may onboard peers as additional SAMT Bill-to ID (“BID”) Admins. Peer SAMT BID to ID Admin access must only be granted to people from the same organization as the Bill to ID and the current SAMT Bill to ID Admin. Assigning a peer Administrator can be completed either by contacting Cisco or assigning additional Administrators using SAMT.
Contacting Cisco to Request Assignment of Additional SAMT Administrators:
If you are a current SAMT Admin of one or more contracts and/or one or more Bill to IDs, you may email Cisco at services-entitlement-help@Cisco.com and request additional SAMT Admins be assigned to a contract or Bill to ID that you manage. The email should contain the following information:
• Your identification: First and Last Name, Company, Cisco.com User ID or email address used to log into Cisco.com/SAMT
• New SAMT Administrator identification: First and Last Name, Company, Cisco.com User ID or email address used to log into Cisco.com/SAMT
• Bill to IDs to assign user as additional Administrator
Assigning Additional SAMT BID Administrators Using SAMT:
Step 1: Log in to SAMT and click the double arrow ( >> ) to view the Administration tab.
Step 2: Find and click “Onboard Peer SAMT Admins” located under ‘Grant Access to Other Administrators’ section.
Step 3: Enter the CCO Id or email address of the person you would like to add as peer admin and click Search. (The email address on the profile must be a business address. Public domain email addresses are not allowed for SAMT Admins.)
If the user does not belong to your company, you can only onboard the user as a Contract Administrator. You will not be able to onboard the user as a SAMT Bill to ID Admin. Step 4: When the user belongs to the correct company, click the radio button next to the user on the screen. Select “Bill to ID” in the “Select Admin Type” drop-down and click Next.
Step 5: All Bill to IDs that you manage and user can be on boarded to are displayed. Select the Bill to Id(s) that user should manage. Click Submit.
Step 6. SAMT displays a confirmation that the user is now a SAMT Bill-to ID Admin.
