I want to understand how does function packet duplication work?
My cEdge has 3 chanels: two internet channels and mpls channel
1. I configured AAR policy for traffic of data and traffic of voip
2. Traffic of data should balance on to ways (default and biz-internet) with sla "bulk data"
3. I configured "traffic policy" for data with action local tloc list (default and biz-internet) to traffic of data does't go to mpls channel
4. I apllyed "AAR policy" for traffic of data and "traffic policy" for data to all sites and vpn of data
5. I did the same for traffic of voip (aar + traffic policy which include policy loss correction (packet duplication))
6. After i needed configure loss correction for traffic of data, i added the rule loss correction (packet duplication) to my traffic policy for data
and today i've noticed the mpls channel is loaded much more than usual, I assumed that this happened after I configured the packet duplication policy for data traffic, after I removed it, then all excess traffic left the mpls channel.
why did it happen? I have local tloc specified, or are all channels used for loss correction, regardless of the indication through which tloc traffic should go out?
