C8000v SDWAN Encrypted Throughput (Without NAT)

Hello Team,

Please can anyone help how much minimum guaranteed throughput is expected from C8000v SDWAN Encrypted Throughput (Without NAT) hosted in AWS Instance c5.4xlarge. Also the burstable throughput is 10 Gbps but can this burst be handled for longer duration during peak business hours.

If there is a clear documentation of some cisco testing would be helpful. The general throughput guidelines available in Cisco documentation provides general guidelines only.

Thanks.

Best Regards,

As far as I know they don't offer any guaranteed throughput as performance depends on a separate cloud providers infrastructure. To quote the AWS performance section of the c8000v datasheet: "Your actual throughput performance may be different and depends on the cloud provider’s infrastructure."

I think c5.4xlarge is a good fit for the bandwidth requirements and traffic you describe. The only way to be certain is to benchmark it/test it with production traffic.
