cEdge - CTS support on Etherchannel subinterfaces

Hi All,

I am configuring SD-WAN/SD-Access independent domain pairwise integration.

I have configured a port-channel with sub-interfaces per VN on an 8500 cEdge via CLI add-on Template, connecting to a Fusion switch.

I am enabling CTS and found the 'CTS...' commands are not available on the port-channel sub-interfaces, only parent port-channel and physical ports. These would usually be applied to both the physical sub-interfaces when using vManage templates.  The show CTS commands also indicate is disabled on the port-channel sub-interfaces.

Is using CTS on Port-channel sub-interfaces supported?  Or should I stick to point to point links via vManage templates as per the deployment guide?

Thanks

Hi,

did you try to enable it on parent port-channel using CLI-addon template?

HTH,

Hi,

Yes I had it enabled on the parent port-channel and member ports  but show CTS interface said it was disabled on the Po sub-interfaces.  I am now using using vManage templates to deploy dual service side interfaces with sub-interfaces instead.

On the 9500 Fusion switch side I also have port-channels to FTD Firewalls.  Does anyone know if CTS has to be enabled on both the parent port-channels and member ports?  Or only on member ports?
