I don't have maintenance contract yet as we are still testing SD-WAN in the lab. There is a bug that I couldn't find in the bug list, so could be brand new.
In 16.10.1 in SD-WAN mode, when configuring hostname it appears normal at first. But then if you reboot the router, interesting things happen. Prompt still looks ok, but when you enter "config-t" the prompt changes to the hostname truncated to the first 7 characters. SNMP also returns truncated hostname. The only solution is to reduce the length of the hostname to 7. Otherwise third party tools such as LiveAction LiveNX start going crazy and misinterpret information pulled from these routers.

Great, hope to see 16.11 out soon. This is very unhealthy to have 7 character hostnames :)
