Hello!

I have problem with transfer between VLANs.

I have Cisco Meraki MX64 and switch.

Transfer between VLANs (when I move files like .exe) is 30 - 32 MB/s is very slow ...

When I move these same files in this same VLAN I have transfer about 600 - 700 MB/s

IMO I must turn on L3 on switch, but ... i have some problems ...

My MX64 have IP address: 192.168.1.1

My switch have IP adress: 192.168.1.245

When I configure L3 like this:

I lost connection to SRV-VLAN (10.0.101.0)

What am I doing wrong?

Do I need to configure anything else?

Because i lost connection to SRV-VLAN (10.0.101.0)

Because i lost connection to SRV-VLAN (10.0.101.0)

This is not clear for us, Lost means  the device connected in the VLAN not working ? what is the issue ?

Yes, device connected in the VLAN not working. I cannot ping and log on on RDP protocol.

The MX64 is rated for 250 MBit/s, so your observation is the expected behavior.

If you want to have SVIs on the Switch, you need a new transfer LAN between the switch and the MX:

  • The MS has a default route to the MX IP of the transfer link
  • The MX has a route to all VLANs on the switch with a next hop of the MS IP on the transfer link.
