Where are you trying this Image, esxi ? or any other simulator.

You need SD-WAN Image,

no, I tried a couple of times attached image is getting invalid command if I tried the "system" configuration.

this image does not even ask for the user name and password initial boot.

Once boot post show version. ( did you get the image from cisco  site or downloaded from google.)

I have attached the initial boot device show version details for your reference

Hi,

this is definitely not SD-WAN image.

First of all, traditional "conf t" should not work in SD-WAN image and there is no SD-WAN image for 15.x releases.

You either need to download 16.x version from IOS XE SD-WAN series OR 17.2.x and later from IOS XE series.

Note that, after 17.2 (and including 17.2), there is only one universal image which can be used for traditional router deployment or for

SD-WAN. You need to enable controller mode, if you want to run it in SD-WAN.

HTH,

HTH,
Please rate and mark as an accepted solution if you have found any of the information provided useful.

yes....but I don't have a service contract with cisco

Service Contract Required

To Download this software, you must have a valid service contract associated to your Cisco.com profile.
If you do not have a service contract you can get one through:
  • Your Cisco Account Team if you have a direct purchase agreement with Cisco
  • Your Cisco Partner or Reseller

You have 2 options

if you have any cisco partner who help you to get image,

google or ask forums (not cisco) other emulator/simulator forums, people may share with you.
