I am trying to downgrade a Cisco ISR ISR1100-4G router running Viptela OS 19.2.3. to Classic IOS-XE. There is this guide https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/routers/xe-sd-wan-routers/214519-how-to-downgrade-router-running-ios-xr-s.pdf but the command config-transaction is not available on the vedge. Any tips or thoughts would be sincerely appreciated.

I decided to upgrade to 20.4.1 and was able to install the image -
vedge# request software install /home/admin/isr1100be-universalk9.17.04.01a.SPA.bin
vedge# request software activate ?
Description: Display software versions
Possible completions:
17.04.01a.0.211
19.2.3
20.4.1
vedge# request software activate 17.04.01a.0.211
This will reboot the node with the activated version.
Are you sure you want to proceed? [yes,NO] yes
!!! Migrating from vedge 20.4.1 to XE 17.04.01a.0.211. Disk partitions, data and configs will be lost !!!

i have not come across any vedge to cedge command transition, you need to manually config I guess here.

Hi @balaji.bandi when you say manually configure it, what are you implying? I tried changing the image but it does not work.

Are you looking to Viptella to IOS XE SD-WAN conversion: look at the below :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTfaVUjilwc
or if you looking for no SD-WAN - Classic Image as you intended to go then your document should work : ( you need to get on to common as mentioned I the document)

Yes, that's what I'm looking to do. I saw the video already but the vedge has not been connected to vBond to onboard. However, I copied the image via winscp but it says the image is not supported as it's not a tar.
I also read the document before but the pnpa service discovery stop command does not work. Thanks for your feedback. Will deep a bit more myself.
