ISR 4331 SD-WAN without vManage

Hey hello guys.

Is it possible to have an ISR working, with basic configuration without having a Vmanage, on SD-WAN IOS or controller mode (using the version 17.2.x) ?

The basic configuration would be an ip address to be a subnet gateway, using a default static route and maybe as a dchp server. Everything by cli commands cause there are no controllers.

Or you can only configure by cli the commands to make it register to the controllers? (system ip, vbond, organization, etc)

Hello Fernando,

Even in controller mode you can configure anything you want including routes. It will mostly operate as a standalone router even without control connections up.

It will NOT connect to your fabric though so none of your tunnels to other sites will come up. This means it will only work for routing locally.

Hope this helps!

Perfect. Thank you so much Bradley.
I needed to confirm to make some testings before building the fabric.

Regards!
