You need at least 40Gig of RAM in your lab to run SDWAN controllers (vManage require at least 32 + vbond at about 4 and vsmart at about 4). for each vEdgeCloud you need 2Gig of RAM.
you need a smartnet contract to download ova images. if not, contact your Cisco Account team.
if you work for Cisco partner you can open a case and they will provide a link to download ova files.
and you need a smart account to create controller profiles in PnP portal.

Hi,
my eve-ng lab 20.3 controllers/vedges and 17.3 CSR1k:
vmanage: 20ram+4vcpu
vsmart: 4ram+2vcpu
vbond/vedges: 2ram+1vcpu
csr1000v: 4ram+1vcpu
for small labs they work normally. Haven't tested for lab where 20-30 vedges, but should work.

HTH,
Hi there,
I do have a 32gb ram laptop with 4 cores.
Is it possible to run a home SDwan lab using eve-ng
Mpls and internet
1 vmanage, 1vbond, 1vsmart and 3vedges.
What about running the lab in google cloud?

Hi,
I used to have a home EVENG lab on SD-WAN ver 20.3.4 with 1 vManage, 2vSmarts, 2vBonds, and 6vEdges, including a few IOL routers and three WIN7 hosts for opening websites, iperf, etc. My setup is Intel Core i5 10400 (12 vCPUs) and 48Gb RAM. Everything runs smoothly without issues.
I think you can easily run a smaller lab with one of each controller plus 3-4 vEdges without a problem with 32GB RAM.
Regarding the cloud - high-spec VMs in the cloud are expensive! In the end, it will be much more expensive than just buying more RAM for your personal PC...
