We are running vManage v18.4.1 and we have ISR4321 routers deployed with 16.10.2. All our routers are in vManage mode. I'm trying to apply an ingress ACL on a sub-interface, i.e. GigabitEthernet0/0/1.200. I've created the ACL via a Local Policy. When I try to apply the ACL in the template and then deploy, I just get the error "Server error: illegal reference /vmanage-cfs:templates/template{vip_internal_temp_device_ISR4321/K9-FLM23090707}/vpn/vpn-instance{100}/interface{GigabitEthernet0/0/1.15}/access-list{in}/acl-name"
Any ideas?

Hi,
Please check:
- Localized Policy (include ACL) assigned to Router template or not?
- Name of ACL = name in ACL of sub-interface.

Just stumbled across this again after a year and realized I forgot to accept it as the solution. Thank you for the reply!
