Hi,
I'm managing an SD-WAN Fabric and the routers should report their license consumption to our CSSM On-Prem server.
On vManage, I configured the Administration > Settings > License Reporting to be 'On-Prem' and provided the Client ID/secret (generated from the On-Prem server, API module in the Admin Workspace).
Now going to Administration > License Management > Sync Licenses & Refresh Devices, vManage asks me for my Smart Account credentials while the Reporting mode is correctly set to On-Prem.
I don't understand why this would be required since I want my vManage to connect to my CSSM On-Prem, and not to the Cisco cloud.
Documentation is not helpful here.
Does someone have experience with SD-WAN and CSSM On-Prem ?
Running vManage 20.9.4.1.
Sylvain.

Hi
Did you clear this up?
I am currently using online license reporting but I do have onprem ssm. When I try to configure umbrella credentials, you need to provide smart account credentials and enter Get Keys. I then get error
"Because this Virtual Account is associated with a Satellite, all product instance registration tokens must be generated from its Smart Software Satellite management interface"
Now I need to change reporting, I will lose all license data and hopefully manage to get everything done without impact on production.
regards
