sdwan cedge mode change from vmanage to cli

Dears,

 

HI, want to ask, while changing mode from vmanage to cli, all attached templates and policies on vedge/cedge router will be lost and router will be disconnected from all netwrok and we have to upload backup configuration??? or only mode will change from vmanage to cli ?? please suggest any point while changing mode??? Thanks

No. When changing mode from vManage to CLI, it is only that you won't be able to manage the device from vManage.
All the configuration that is there in vManage mode will be in CLI mode too.
There won't be any configuration lost or router getting disconnected if any.
With the CLI mode, you can make the changes / modify / add configuration.
When the device is put back to vManage mode, any changes / modifications done during CLI mode will be lost and template pushed by vManage will be in effect.
