So we had the Hyperflex solution..but it was becoming hard for the others to understand it and integrate it into their environment...
The idea of breaking off a server and getting the raid controller and just using one server for the vsmart/vmanage and maybe even the vbond came up.
So the one server would still have SSDs but be in a "raid mode...
My question is if there were issues and (slowness or whatever) and TAC was called.. would they say it is not supported.. or "its only supported in Raid 5 and not Raid 6" something like that... also we would need a backup vmanage on the other side of the country just in case the server fails then we would need to do the export database commands to get the database to the backup server... so question though is really about the "supportability" and when TAC is called and we get an engineer who says "we dont support that configuration" Thanks!
