My customer has VEDGE routers deployed globally I was made aware of an issue with the routers losing connection with the control plane, what is going on with this issue, is there a fix coming and if so when?

Can you verify this is only affecting the versions listed, if we were to upgrade to let's say 20.10.1 - would this be resolved?

Short answer - NO.
Long answer - as the issue is with a certificate on the TPM chip, wouldnt matter what version you upgrade/downgrade to, it would still be affected. Cisco are working on a resolution and should have something out very soon

Feedback from Cisco is very unclear they mention specific IOS versions as being unaffected however this is not the case:
