Hey,

I have Cisco C1117-4P ISR already, use this routers for SD-WAN solutions. Is Cisco 2960X switches or 9200 series switches are compatible with them? I need a located a switch one of our companies locations.

I think Cisco make a table for this, which routers compatible to work with which switches for which solutions? I can not find any info about this Cisco products pages or in community Cisco forum.

Thanks for reply now

@ertanbar SD-WAN is a software-defined approach to managing the wide-area network, or WAN, not the LAN. HTH

Hey @bigevilbeard ,

I know this page and checked it already. But this includes routers and softwares that compatible with SD-WAN. But I wanna know a switch that compatible with this routers. So I have C1117-4P router and can I use a Cisco Catalyst 2960X-48FPD-L switch with this router?

@ertanbar you can use this switch with this router, but you cannot manage this switch with SD-WAN. HTH

Thanks for helps and reply,

But why? Any reason to can't manage this switch with SD-WAN? What's the differences this switches from other "SD-WAN manageble switches"?

Or which switches can I use with C1117-4P router with SD-WAN?

Thanks for helps,

Oh @bigevilbeard understood it now. I think we misunderstand in last messages. Ofc we manage LAN with switch not WAN, we'll manage SD-WAN with the 1117 Router, just wanted to ask Is this router compatible to work with this switch. I understand yes.

Thanks for time
