Before July 31st, if you wanted to use your own custom PAC (Proxy Auto-Configuration) file, you were responsible for finding a suitable hosting location for the PAC file.
Today, Cisco Secure Access will allow you to upload a maximum of 5 custom PAC files. Each PAC file will be assigned a unique obfuscated URL which can be used to download the PAC file to the user’s browser. The URL remains constant even when changes are made to the PAC file content.
In addition, the default and custom PAC can be downloaded over a Registered Tunnel. Previously PAC files could only be downloaded via a fixed registered Network. This change provides some additional deployment flexibility.
You will find this new functionality located within Connect > End User Connectivity > Internet Security.
