We are excited to announce the addition of the Multi-Hop BGP feature to Cisco Secure Access, enhancing its capabilities for dynamic routing and interoperability. This new feature empowers customers with greater flexibility and control over connectivity of their networks to Secure Access.
Key Highlights:
- Flexible BGP Peering: Customers can now use a device other than the one terminating the IPsec tunnel to establish BGP peering with Secure Access.
- Interoperability with Meraki and other SD-WAN Solutions: Enables seamless BGP peering with Meraki devices and other SD-WAN solutions that require the BGP peer to be more than one hop away.
Enabling and configuring this feature is extremely simple. You only need to specify the subnet from which the BGP peering session will be initiated and define the number of hops (TTL) for the BGP peer.
