On November 21st, 2024 Cisco will be disabling the following weak ciphers from being used to connect to our dashboard and APIs:
TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA
TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA
TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA
TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA
These ciphers are used primarily by older, end-of-life operating systems and browers such as Windows XP, Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11. Cisco Secure Access does not support these end-of-life systems, so we expect little to no impact for our customers from this change.
This date was previously announced as October 7th.
