We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Troubleshooting Skill within the Secure Access AI Assistant! This new AI-powered skill is designed to streamline the troubleshooting process for private resource access issues, offering enhanced support for security administrators through the AI Assistant interface.
Introducing the Troubleshooting Assistant
The Troubleshooting Skill uses an Agentic AI system to automate troubleshooting workflows for Private Resource access issues via VPN or ZTA, correlate results from various subsystems for the access methods and provide a concise summary of the analysis. It is designed to significantly reduce the time and effort required for security administrators to diagnose and resolve this issue.
To get started, invoke the Troubleshooting Skill using the following prompt:
“Why can’t [Source user] access [Destination]?”
Here’s what you can expect:
1. Automated Analysis: The Troubleshooting skill leverages AI to perform a comprehensive analysis based on data available from several Secure Access services to triage and automate the identification of root causes for private resource access issues.
2. Summary Report: Once the analysis is complete, the assistant summarizes the findings under “Event Analysis”, making it easier for administrators to understand and address the identified issues.
For more details on how to get started, please go through the documentation: Troubleshoot with the Cisco Assistant.
We are excited to see how the Troubleshooting Skill will transform your workflow. Your continued feedback will be invaluable as we work to improve and expand our capabilities.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please reply to the post or reach out directly to your Cisco partner.
