Introduction
This document provides an example about latest feature of ACS 5.4. It gives you description on how to configure Login Banner (After Login and Before login) on CLI and GUI interface of ACS 5.4.
Requirements
Ensure that you have configured ACS and can access the ACS through GUI as well through CLI access.
Components Used
The information in this document is based on these software and hardware versions:
- ACS 5.4
- ACS 1121
The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.

Configuration
In this section, you are presented with the information to configure the features described in this document.
Note
Use the Command Lookup Tool (registered customers only) to obtain more information on the commands used in this section.
For Before Login banner message:
Step 1. Login to ACS GUI> Go to my workspace> click on login banner > on the right hand side>Before login( configure the banner message)
Step 2: For configuring banner message after the login>Login to ACS GUI> Go to my workspace> click on login banner > on the right hand side>After login( configure the banner message)

This is how it will appear on the ACS GUI: Before Login:

Note:
You can only configure the banner for 250 characters. More than 250 characters are not allowed. You cannot configure separate banner for CLI and GUI.
