Core issue
PIX/ASA is getting IP address, but traffic cannot pass outside of the PIX/ASA because of an incorrect default route.
Resolution
Verify that a default route is not configured in the PIX. If one exists, remove it. Use the setroute option at the end of the ip address command to have the PIX automatically set the default route using the default gateway parameter that the PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) server returns.
