I have a 7200 router with a cpa interface. In show running config can be seen several interfaces channel(interface Channel2/0

no ip address

no ip directed-broadcast

ip mtu 0

!

interface Channel2/0

no ip address

no ip directed-broadcast

ip mtu 0)

There is only cpa instaled.

Anybody have any notice of this?

Hi Gustavo,

I haven't seen that problem before. How are you accessing the CPA router - directly through the console/aux port using a terminal emulator like hyperterm (VT100, etc) from a PC, telnetting into the router, other ways? You might want to try accessing the router in some other way than how you did so when you saw the duplicate interface display. Are you certain you're not just seeing previous output saved in the buffer? Regards, Steve

I'm accessing to the router by telnet, but the same i get accessing by console. There are 3 interface in show run and show start commands.

Regards.

Gustavo, this doesn't appear to be normal behaviour at all and I can't think of any operational reason why you would see the same Channel interface displayed 3 times! I recommend you open a case with Cisco TAC so they can troubleshoot the problem and hopefully provide a resolution. Regards, Steve
