Good afternoon,
I was upgrading the IOS on my C3650 and the file I used as the new IOS was corrupt. When my switch rebooted after "copy run start," my switch does not boot. I am now stuck on "switch:" and only have limited commands.
Typically, I would use xmodem however, under "dir," xmodem is "(read-only)." How else can I add my IOS to the switch? Can I change xmodem to "(read-write)?" Thank you in advance!

Force the 3650 to boot the IOS-XE, in Bundle Mode, from a supported USB flash drive. Once the appliance boots properly, use the Install Mode to put the correct IOS back in.

Thanks for the reply! I am trying to boot my switch using my IOS that is on a USB device however, when I enter "boot usbflash0" it says "usbflash0:: no such device." How else can I boot my switch using USB?

it says "usbflash0:: no such device."
This means the USB flash drive is not supported. Find another one.
"Directory <USBflash0> not created -- no such device."
USB flash drive not supported.

Additional information to my last post: mkdir won't work. It just says "Directory <USBflash0> not created -- no such device."
