Hi everyone,
We are using a Cisco UCS chassis with a number of blades. I have a question regarding one of the Cisco Storage drivers. The storage driver we are using is as follows:-
Cisco VIC FCoE Storport Miniport Driver, Hardware Version A2, Driver Version 2.1.0.27, Driver name fnicwl64, ROM Version 2.2(3b), Firmware Version 2.2(3b)
We recently started running into a few issues on our Exchange 2010 infrastructure and when we raised a support case with Microsoft they brought this particular Hotfix to our attention https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2468345
According to the KB you need to apply a Microsoft Hotfix so that your storage driver can use more than 4GB's of memory. You also need to add a registry entry to the server telling your storage driver that it needs to use 64bit addressing.
This is all good and well, however does the storage driver I mentioned above support 64bit addressing? I have noticed that the registry entry that I add to the driver is been removed after rebooting the server.
Thank you in advance
